The number of wefts varies based on desired volume and natural hair thickness. On average a full install requires 6–12 wefts; your stylist will recommend the ideal amount during consultation.
When applied and maintained correctly, wefts should not cause damage. Proper placement, regular maintenance, and gentle care prevent stress. Follow stylist guidance and avoid excessive pulling to preserve hair health.
Use sulfate-free shampoo, gentle detangling, and low-heat styling. Brush from ends upward, sleep on a silk pillowcase or braid hair, and schedule maintenance every 6–8 weeks to keep wefts secure.
