Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about 1 Row Move Up.

Appointments typically take 30–45 minutes for one row, depending on hair density, adhesions, and stylist technique. We assess before starting and communicate timing; heavier hair or repairs may extend the appointment slightly.

When the wefts are in good condition we can often reuse them. If tape or bonds need replacement we'll replace or charge a small materials fee; we always inspect and confirm reuse during consultation.

No — shampoo and blow-dry styling are not included in the 1 Row Move Up. Please arrive with clean, dry hair; add-on styling is available for an additional fee if you'd like a finished look.

Most clients schedule a move up every 6–8 weeks as hair grows. Exact timing depends on growth rate, placement comfort and weave type — we recommend follow-ups before rows cause tension.

When done correctly, moving one row should not damage natural hair. Skilled stylists remove and reposition wefts with minimal tension; improper technique or extended time between moves increases risk of breakage.

Basic color blending can be discussed and often performed during the appointment, but full color services require more time and separate booking. Ask your stylist about quick touch-ups or blending fees.
